The Small-ish Art Prize

To say a big hello to everyone in the 'nabe, The Small-ish Art Prize was an open-entry exhibition for all ages accepting paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, weaving and much more.
This exhibition aimed to provide an opportunity for makers of all ages and skill levels to participate, and raise funds to create a series of free and discounted creative events hosted at Nabe so that a wider range of people can participate and enjoy Nabe. We exhibited 89 artworks from 64 artists, ranging in age from 7 years old, to 76.
Through door donations and a Chuffed.org online fundraiser, we were able to raise $2000. This money went towards Pay the Rent, the prize for The Winner of The Small-ish Art Prize and Young Nabe, and creating our very own Nabe arts access fund; All for One and Arts For All. This fund is able to be used to help us reduce prices for workshops and exhibition fees to make using and participating within our space more accessible.
