EMPIRICAL is a group exhibition gathering diverse creative practices to explore the bodily and physical aspects of artistic production.

 

EMPIRICAL showcases works by Asha-Mae Chapman, Chris Ellis, Lizzy Yu, and curator, Mitchell Beatty, working across painting, illustration, sculpture, and ceramics.

 

In the spirit of empiricism, the exhibit prioritises the 'state of affairs' in which these pieces come together, celebrating their difference and their diversity, while emphasising what is generative or creative within the process of gathering and exhibiting a body of work.
